By forming partnerships with working families, Habitat Boston works to create opportunities for self-help and home ownership. Habitat Boston homeowners make their down payment in the form of sweat equity - contributions of labor and commitment to the construction of their new homes - in a unique partnership program that enables Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston to build a community as it builds homes.
Thank you for considering a contribution of your time and efforts to Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston. You do not need to be an expert in construction or a committee subject area to help out. There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others. However, you must be 16 years or older to help on the construction sites.
- Group or Individual Volunteering
