The Boston Rescue Mission is dedicated to providing a Continuum of Care for its clients and residents. This is achieved by a implementing a combination of programs, some of which are: Overnight Shelter Services, Meal Programs, Post-Detox Residential Program, Life Growth Community Residential Program, 'On The Job' Placement Program, and Spiritual Development.
We are so thankful and appreciative of the volunteers who help at the Mission everyday. Our volunteers are a diverse group representing many different spans of age, occupation, race and religion. You can make a difference at the Boston Rescue Mission in a variety of ways. We have opportunities for the individual who would like to become part of a family like atmosphere. We also have volunteer activities designed for single families or groups.
- Individuals: Front Desk, Kitchen, Food/Donation Pickup Van Drivers, Computer and IT Support, Instructors/Coaches/Mentors
- Groups: Kitchen, Sunday Community Meal
- All: Saturday Morning Outreach, Maintenance, Prayer Support, Construction/Maintenance
